PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Bhd achieved a 90% take-up rate for phase one Embun 2 landed property project in Bandar Ainsdale, Seremban under its Spotlight 8 Year 2020 campaign.

The property developer said 54 out of 60 landed home units of the phase one project were sold during the Spotlight 8 weekend from Sept 19 to Sept 20.

In a statement, Sime Darby Property group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican (pic) said the group is enjoying the positive impact of the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2020 with overwhelming support by the public for new products under the Spotlight 8 campaign.

“Embun 2’s success comes after the good news that Embun 1, which was also launched this year, had been fully taken-up.

“We are humbled by the great response from not just returning but also new customers for products launched within the Greater Klang Valley, ” he said.

Despite the soft property market, he noted that the success of Sime Darby Property’s launches showcased the group’s products offering that meet the market demand for affordable and mid-range houses.

The Embun 2 project is the fourth and final freehold landed property within the Greater Klang Valley offered through the sales campaign. It features contemporary 20’x70’ double-storey freehold lakeside homes with built-up ranging from 1,972 sq ft to 2,249 sq ft.

The homes, which are priced from RM545,888 per unit, have four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Residents of Embun 2 will live next to the 11-acre Ainsdale Lake Garden surrounded by recreational facilities.

The Bandar Ainsdale township has direct access via the dedicated Bandar Ainsdale interchange on the PLUS highway for easy connection to other major highways like the Elite and Lekas.

Sime Darby Property is the only Malaysian property developer to be selected as an index component of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the second consecutive year.

It is also the first Malaysian property developer to be awarded the International FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards twice for its Subang Jaya and UEP Subang Jaya townships.

The company bagged its 10th consecutive Gold at the Putra Brand Awards 2019 and its sixth consecutive Top 10 Developers Awards at the BCI Asia 2015.
