SunCon unit ends UAE joint venture


In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Sunway Innopave Sdn Bhd (SunInno) has signed a closure of business with Silver Coast Construction & Boring to end Silver Coast-Sunway Innopave Joint Venture (SC-SI JV).

PETALING JAYA: Sunway Construction Group Bhd’s (SunCon) unit has ended its unincorporated joint-venture business in the United Arab Emirates following the completion of a project.

In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Sunway Innopave Sdn Bhd (SunInno) has signed a closure of business with Silver Coast Construction & Boring to end Silver Coast-Sunway Innopave Joint Venture (SC-SI JV).

SunCon said in view of the completion of the works for the Zayed Sports City Development, Sector W-57, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Phase 1A – Residential Plot 1, the parties have mutually agreed to close the business of the SC-SI JV.
