TNB Kedah solar plant ahead of schedule


KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has commenced operation of its second large scale solar (LSS) project in Bukit Selambau, Kedah (LSS Bukit Selambau) on Sept 8,114 days ahead of schedule.

TNB said the 30 megawatt (MW) plant is equipped with 134,880 solar photovoltaic panels with 14 inverters. It was initially targeted to start operations on Dec 31,2020.
