Petronas pays up 2019 state sales tax to Sarawak

KUCHING: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and its group of companies have paid Sarawak the state sales tax (SST) on petroleum products for last year.

The national oil and gas company said in a statement that the RM2.9bil payment represented full and final settlement of the sales tax for 2019. It said this was evidence of the group’s commitment towards achieving commercial resolution.
