KUALA LUMPUR: Pay-TV operator Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd is cautious about its prospects for the rest of the year after reporting improved results in the second quarter ended July 31 compared with the pandemic-hit first quarter.
“Astro remains cautious in the second half of FY21 due to prevailing uncertainties amid the pandemic, structural changes in the media industry and the ongoing acts of piracy," it said.
"We are mindful of the potential impact on consumers’ disposable income and sentiments when the loan moratorium ends," it added.
