Bank Negara keeps OPR unchanged at 1.75%

In a statement issued on Thursday, it said the cumulative 125 basis points reduction in the OPR this year will continue to provide stimulus to the economy.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decided to maintain the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) at its historical low of 1.75%.

In a statement issued on Thursday, it said the cumulative 125 basis points reduction in the OPR this year will continue to provide stimulus to the economy.
