AirAsia’s MRO unit takes off


This unit will service all of AirAsia’s group airlines and third party airlines in the region, focusing on key services such as line maintenance, workshop and engineering support.

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Group Bhd said its wholly owned subsidiary Asia Digital Engineering Bhd (ADE) had been given the green light to begin operations.

In announcing the establishment of ADE, which would consolidate the group’s engineering personnel, the low-cost carrier said the new unit would operate as a centralised and independent maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) unit.

This unit will service all of AirAsia’s group airlines and third party airlines in the region, focusing on key services such as line maintenance, workshop and engineering support.
