KLCI falls below crucial 1,500, dragged down by gloves


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia came under selling pressure in late Tuesday morning as the FBM KLCI fell below the crucial 1,500 level on selling of Top Glove and Hartalega.

At 11.31am, the KLCI was down 16.59 points or 1.09% to 1,499.79. Turnover was 4.41 billion shares valued at RM1.92bil. The broader market was weaker, with decliners beating advanced 846 to 174 and 329 counters unchanged.
