Iris corners US$27.5mil project in India

PETALING JAYA: Iris Corp Bhd has secured a project worth US$27.5mil for the supply of electronic contactless inlays for e-passport production in India.

In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said yesterday it had received a letter of intent from India Security Press for the project in relation to the procurement of 15 million International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) compliant electronic contactless inlays along with its operating system required for the manufacture of Indian e-Passports.
