Damcomech lands Jurong Port project


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Dancomech said its 55%-owned subsidiary, Arah Edar (M) Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of acceptance from SH Design & Build Pte Ltd for the project.

PETALING JAYA: Dancomech Holdings Bhd has won a contract worth S$12.01mil (RM37mil) for the construction, completion and maintenance of a proposed ready-mixed concrete ecosystem project at Jurong Port, Singapore.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Dancomech said its 55%-owned subsidiary, Arah Edar (M) Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of acceptance from SH Design & Build Pte Ltd for the project.

“The sub-contract is to be completed by Jan 26,2022, ” it said. The company added that the sub-contract was expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31,2021 and onwards, during the duration of the sub-contract.

Dancomech trades and distributes process control equipment and measurement instruments for various industries.
