PETALING JAYA: Casino-to-hospitality conglomerate Genting Bhd expects a slow recovery for its key operating sectors due to pandemic-related fears and uncertainty.

Its Malaysian operations, which is the main revenue contributor, remains cautious on near-term prospects although it banks on domestic demand to drive visitor traffic growth and revenue. Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM) also said it is focused on the completion of its outdoor theme park, which is targeted to open in mid-2021.
