Double tropical punch aims at Gulf, offshore workers moved

BOSTON: The United States Gulf Coast and its offshore energy fields face a rare double punch next week from tropical storms Marco and Laura, which both have the potential to reach hurricane strength.

The storms coming from different directions will take aim at the central and western Gulf of Mexico, meaning days of crashing waves, winds and rain for coastal residents and for offshore energy platforms.
