Nizar appointed deputy CEO of SMBCMY

Mohammed Nizar Faisal has been appointed as the new deputy chief executive officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Malaysia Bhd.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mohammed Nizar Faisal has been appointed as the new deputy chief executive officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Malaysia Bhd (SMBCMY).

The bank said on Wednesday the appointment of Nizar, 49, took effect on July 6. He takes over from Anthony Lim Choon Eng who retired on July 26.
