KUALA LUMPUR: With U Mobile’s latest partnerships with Waze and SMART Tunnel, it has become the first telco in the world to power Waze in SMART Tunnel which will provide drivers undisrupted GPS connectivity through the 5.2km tunnel.

In a press release issued yesterday, U Mobile said drivers will not have to worry about getting lost or taking the wrong exit in the area, thanks to the installation of Bluetooth-enabled hardware devices known as “Waze Beacons.”
