SME Bank introduces RM1.8b relief plan for 3,000 customers


Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said this SRP programme will benefit 3,000 of SME Bank’s customers with total financing worth more than RM1.8bil.

KUALA LUMPUR: SME Bank has introduced its SME Relief Programme (SRP) for businesses in the tourism, transportation, education and health sectors that are directly and indirectly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

It said the programme was crucial for its customers as the six-month moratorium period, introduced by the banking sector for Covid-19 affected customers, ends on Sept 30
