Bursa Securities freezes Tomei share price


Jewllers Tomei and Poh Kong share prices had surged after spot gold prices broke past the key US$2,000 per ounce.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jeweller Tomei Holdings Bhd, whose share price had surged in recent days, has prompted Bursa Malaysia Securities to freeze the upper limit at RM1.53.

In a statement issued on Friday, the regulator said according to the rules of Bursa Malaysia Securities, the share price would be frozen as it had been trading at the static limit upper price for two consecutive days
