CIMB Niaga posts RM493mil net profit in first half


CIMB Niaga president director Tigor M. Siahaan (pic) said in a statement managing asset quality and helping its clients navigate through this difficult period were among its top priorities, as many businesses were faced with various challenges as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

PETALING JAYA: PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) posted an unaudited consolidated net profit of 1.7 trillion rupiah (RM493mil) in the first half of 2020, translating to earnings per share of 69.99 rupiah.

In a statement, the group said its capital adequacy ratio stood at 19.97% as at June 30,2020. And with total assets of 274.4 trillion rupiah, CIMB Niaga maintained its position as Indonesia’s second largest privately owned bank by assets.
