Wall Street trading ended Wednesday broadly positive as investors reacted to the Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates at ultra-low levels.

NEW YORK/BOSTON: U.S. stocks gained further and the U.S. dollar fell on Wednesday as investors reacted to the Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates at ultra-low levels.

The Fed repeated a pledge to use its "full range of tools" to support the U.S. economy and keep interest rates near zero for as long as it takes to recover from the fallout from the coronavirus outbreak.
