AmInvest Research underweight on EMS sector

Stocks under its coverage are V.S. Industry (Underweight, FV RM0.80), and ATA IMS (Underweight, FV RM1.05) which it had downgraded from Hold calls previously as their valuations were deemed unattractive after the rise in share prices.

KUALA LUMPUR: AmInvestment Research has an Underweight call on the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector for 2H20 as it believes demand will still be weak for its customers’ end products.

The research house had on Tuesday pointed out to household consumer products such as floor care and personal care products, coffee machines, and pool cleaners might see a slower-than-expected recovery.
