Pharma stocks in focus as glove makers take a breather


KUALA LUMPUR: Pharmaceutical companies staged a strong rally with Pharmaniaga hitting limit-up and Duopharma at a record high on Wednesday while glove makers consolidated some of their massive gains.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was down 8.95 points or 0.56% to 1,586.98. Turnover was 9.37 billion shares valued at RM4.89bil. There were 510 gainers, 557 losers and 403 counters unchanged.
