Foreign funds step up selling on Bursa to net RM637.2m


Malaysia has the second highest foreign net outflow at RM17.44 billion after Thailand on a year-to-date basis.

KUALA LUMPUR: International investors disposed of RM637.20 million net of local equities from July 13-16 (Monday-Thursday), more than double the net outflow of RM270.01 million recorded last week.

Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd economist Adam Mohamed Rahim said international funds started to reduce their exposure on Bursa Malaysia on Monday, albeit at a moderate pace of RM77.10 million net.
