Sime Darby gets chairman


He was the chief secretary to the government from 2001 to 2006 and he was chairman of the Employees Provident Fund board for 13 years until his retirement earlier this year.

PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Bhd’s independent director Tan Sri Samsudin Osman has been appointed chairman with immediate effect.

It announced on Thursday his appointment follows his previous appointment as the group’s acting chairman in June 2020.
