PETALING JAYA: A strong rebound in corporate earnings will drive stock markets globally, including Malaysia, although economic recovery remains vulnerable as coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdowns persist, says Standard Chartered Malaysia (StanChart).
Its head of fixed income, currencies and commodities investment strategy Manpreet Gill said that while there were concerns over the valuation of the market appearing rich, it was a usual phenomenon when markets were coming out of a recession.
