Texchem gets UMA query

Yesterday, Texchem’s share price closed 23 sen or 36% higher to 85 sen per share on the back of 9.05 million shares traded.

PETALING JAYA: Texchem Resources Bhd, which has seen its share price surging as much as 38%, has been slapped with an unusual market activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia.

In a filing with the local bourse, the conglomerate said that the UMA was due to the sharp rise of its share price and trading volume.
