Quick take: PDZ shares continue uptrend, adding 2.4%


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in PDZ Holdings Bhd continued to attract strong trading interest in early trade Thursday.

The counter rose 2.44%, or 0.5 sen to 5.5 sen. It is currently the fifth actively traded counter on Bursa Malaysia with 114.2 million shares done. PDZ-WB added 9.09%, or 0.5 sen to six sen with 55.4 million shares traded.

The counter was the most actively traded stock on Bursa Malaysia yesterday with some 1.33 billion shares done.

It was reported earlier that PDZ’s largest shareholder Pelaburan Mara Bhd has disposed of its entire shareholding of 50.62 million shares or a 5.71% stake in the company.

PDZ said the disposal of the shares was done in the open market on July 3.
