Maybank, CGC launch SME clean loan/financing plus


Maybank’s group chief executive officer for community financial services Datuk John Chong said the collaboration with CGC was to support SMEs particularly during this critical period as business activities are gradually picking up.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd and Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) have allocated RM1bil for their joint SME Clean Loan/Financing Plus to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the cashflow management after months of disruption to their business.

In a joint statement issued on Wednesday following the launch of the hybrid loan facility, they said it combines overdraft and term loan which is the first in the market.
