Sapura Energy refutes allegations in social media

In a media statement on Tuesday, it said as a listed company, the board of directors subscribes to the guidelines and rules of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd and all other relevant authorities.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Energy Bhd has refuted all innuendos and unfounded allegations which have been circulating in the social media.

In a media statement on Tuesday, it said as a listed company, the board of directors subscribes to the guidelines and rules of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd and all other relevant authorities.

Sapura Energy, the board said, is bound by high standards of corporate governance stipulated in the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.

“The board of directors has always and continues to act in the best interests of the company, ” said the global integrated oil and gas services and solutions provider.
