PETALING JAYA: Despite a decline in revenue, Spritzer Bhd’s net profit grew 13.8% to RM8.8mil for the first quarter ended March 31,2020, from RM7.7mil in the corresponding quarter last year, thanks to lower manufacturing costs.

During the quarter in review, the mineral water producer’s revenue fell 2.4% to RM92.8mil from RM95.1mil in the previous corresponding quarter. It said the decline in revenue was mainly due to lower volume of plastic packaging materials sold.
