Bursa pares losses as US-China trade deal on

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia pared its losses towards the close on Tuesday on the US President Donald Trump's reassurance the US-China trade deal was on but it was the only Asian market in the red, weighed down by losses in banking stocks.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was down 4.2 points or 0.28% to 1,507.04. Turnover was 8.75 billion shares due to heavy trading in penny stocks such as Trive Property and Vivocom but overall trading value for the day shrank to nearly RM3bil.
