Quick take: Minetech shares hit more than 10-year high


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Minetech Resources Bhd rose to its highest in over 10 years after its executive chairman Datuk Awang Daud Awang Putera raised his direct stake in the company.

The counter rose 4.84%, or 1.5 sen to 32.5 sen, its highest in at least five years. Year-to-date, it has appreciated some 255%. It is the most heavily traded counter on Bursa Malaysia with 64.5 million shares exchanged hands.

Minetech is involved in the production of quarry products, civil engineering works, production of asphalt premix products and production of bituminous products.
