KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) shares rose almost 8% in early trade Thursday after its net profit more than doubled in the first quarter and dividend policy of at least 30%.
The construction and manufacturing group rose 7.92%, or 16 sen to RM2.18, making it one of the top gainers on Bursa Malaysia.
