Hong Leong Bank's campaign to support vendors' cashless payment move


Group managing director and chief executive officer Domenic Fuda said the bank is looking forward to working with the public market traders, who run predominantly cash-based businesses to ease their transition into accepting cashless payment methods.

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd (HLB) has launched a ‘Cashless Lagi Senang’ campaign to support vendors and traders’ cashless and contactless payment transformation for the benefit of their customers.

The programme kickstarts with the onboarding of traders across 20 public markets in Penang over the next three months in support of the "Cashless Pasar Awam" initiative launched by the Penang state government.
