Kenanga downgrades Pos Malaysia to 'market perform'

"The courier business will continue to operate in a competitive environment pressured by price and cost challenges," said Kenanga research, which downgraded the stock to "market perform" from "outperform" previously.

KUALA LUMPUR: Following disappointing results in the first quarter, the outlook for Pos Malaysia Bhd remains cloudy as its post offices will have to remain open while its workforce remains unionised and postal services continue to incur losses.

"The courier business will continue to operate in a competitive environment pressured by price and cost challenges," said Kenanga research, which downgraded the stock to "market perform" from "outperform" previously.
