An aviation tycoon gets a boost in pandemic

This handout photo taken and released on March 30, 2020, by the French Defence Audiovisual Communication and Production Unit (ECPAD) shows airport staff unloading cargo from an Antonov 124 aircraft of Russian air charter service company Volga-Dnepr Airlines, after it landed transporting 10 million face masks ordered by France from China, at the Paris-Vatry Airport in Bussy-Lettree, eastern France.

MOSCOW: The coronavirus has wreaked havoc on commercial aviation, but Alexey Isaykin’s cargo carrier has been fully loaded.

Volga-Dnepr Group has flown more than 3,000 breeding pigs to China from France this year.
