Minho timber complex closed temporarily


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Minho said the timber complex belonging to its wholly owned subsidiary Lionvest Corp (Pahang) Sdn Bhd have been temporarily closed by the authorities due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

KUALA LUMPUR: Minho (M) Bhd has announced the temporary closure of its timber complex in Bandar Pusat Jengka, Pahang.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Minho said the timber complex belonging to its wholly owned subsidiary Lionvest Corp (Pahang) Sdn Bhd have been temporarily closed by the authorities due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The Health Ministry has temporarily sealed off the timber complex for quarantine and disinfection process and all workers were sent to the quarantine centre, ” Minho said.

“The company wishes to inform that all mills in the timber complex are rented and operated by third parties. All the workers that were detained and sent to the quarantine centre worked for the tenants, ” Minho said.
