Perodua sales bounce back to 7,886 units in May

'We are thankful that in just three weeks since we restarted operations nationwide, we have managed to come close to the level of our March figures pre-Movement Control Order,' said Perodua President and CEO Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

KUALA LUMPUR: Since restarting its nationwide operations, Perodua sold 7,886 cars in May, which was comparable to the number of cars it sold in March prior to the movement control order (MCO).

The carmaker had moved 8,601 cars in March before the MCO came into effect on the 18th while there were only 57 units sold in April due to the shutdown.
