PETALING JAYA: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd reported a net profit of RM72.96mil for its first quarter ended March 31, compared with RM87.60mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue in the first three months of this year stood at RM589.87mil from RM659.92mil a year earlier.
Carlsberg said earnings were impacted by the Covid-19 crisis and movement control order (MCO), as operations were suspended and on-trade sales were affected in both Malaysia and Singapore.
