HANOI: Vietnam received $6.7 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first five months of 2020, down 8.2% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said on Tuesday.
FDI pledges - which indicate the size of future FDI disbursements - fell 17% in the Jan-May period from a year earlier to $13.89 billion, the ministry said in a statement.
