Axiata posts RM188.1mil net profit in Q1; withdraws FY20 headline KPIs

KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata Group Bhd, which posted a net profit of RM188.1mil in the first quarter ended March 31, has withdrawn the guidance on its financial year ending Dec 31, 2020 (FY20) headline KPIs.

Its net profit in the first quarter was 74% lower against RM725.16mil in the same period last year. Its revenue, however, was higher by 1.5% to RM6.03bil from RM5.94bil last year.
