KUALA LUMPUR: Local fund buying of key stocks including Tenaga Nasional, IHH Healthcare and Hartalega enabled the FBM KLCI to close on a firmer note on Wednesday, leading the key Asian markets.
At 5pm, the KLCI was up 11.15 points or 0.78% to 1,435.12. Turnover was 6.74 billion shares valued at RM3.63bil. The broader market was firmer with 561 gainers, 356 losers and 409 counters unchanged.
