Asean markets, Bursa skid on US threat


KUALA LUMPUR: Asean markets including Bursa Malaysia fell in morning trade on Monday as the the US threat against China further dampened investor sentiment, already battered by the Covid-19 coronavirus.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was down 29.92 points or 2.13% to 1,377.86. Turnover was 3.17 billion shares valued at RM1.32bil. There were 217 gainers, 581 losers and 317 counters unchanged.
