Sapura Energy to weather crisis

Sapura Energy president and group CEO Tan Sri Shahril ShamsuddinShahril: “We have taken a very prudent view of the industry because we are looking at a much attenuated turnover over the next few years".

PETALING JAYA: Just as the oil and gas (O&G) industry was poised to possibly recover from the 2014 oil price collapse, Sapura Energy Bhd is now facing yet another oil crisis with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The virus outbreak has led to a huge drop in demand for oil with no end in sight at the moment, but Sapura Energy said it would be able to survive the crisis.
