KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s exports of crude palm oil (CPO) and processed palm oil could dip between 25% and 30% to around 13 million to 14 million tonnes this year should the Covid-19 pandemic persists with global lockdowns in place, said Malaysian Palm Oil Association chief executive officer Datuk Nageeb Wahab.
In 2019, Malaysia’s exports of CPO and processed palm oil was around 18.46 million tonnes, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Council.
