LPI Capital may see earnings contraction


Affin Hwang Capital research, which has a “sell” rating on LPI, said the general insurance industry may see a significant decline in gross written premium (GWP) in 2020 as the economic activities and consumer sentiment remain weak following the coronavirus crisis.

KUALA LUMPUR: LPI Capital Bhd may see a decline in its overall 2020 gross written premiums as the general insurance industry faces “unprecedented challenges” due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
