MMHE may see lower order book replenishment

Affin Hwang Capital Research noted that a prolonged low oil price environment and potential capital expenditure cut by Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) will potentially see the postponement of new contract wins, leading to lower order book replenishment.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd’s (MMHE) current outstanding order book of RM3bil is likely to sustain it for the next three to four years, said Affin Hwang Capital Research.

However, the research house had noted that a prolonged low oil price environment and potential capital expenditure cut by Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) will potentially see the postponement of new contract wins, leading to lower order book replenishment.
