Tropicana Corp plans RM1.5b Sukuk issuance


Tropicana said the programme allows for the issuance of rated and senior ranking Sukuk Wakalah from time to time, with flexibility for the company to issue secured the Sukuk where the outstanding amount would not exceed RM1.5bil at any point in time.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tropicana Corporation Bhd has lodged with the Securities Commission its proposed RM1.5b Sukuk issuance which would be used to repay borrowings to unencumber secured properties.

The property company announced on Thursday it had lodged the Sukuk Wakalah programme with the SC under its unlisted capital market products.
