PETALING JAYA: KUB Malaysia Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani has raised his stake in the company to nearly 33% following the purchase of 1.70 million shares via JAG Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed the shares were bought from the open market the previous day.

The share price closed at 24.5 sen.

The latest transaction sees the indirect interest of Johari, who is the chairman, increase to 183.40 million shares or 32.95%.

Johari is a director of JAG Capital and C I Holdings Bhd. His areas of expertise are corporate recovery and turnaround.
