KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Monday include Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB), P.I.E. INDUSTRIAL BHD and MICROLINK SOLUTIONS BHD, according to JF Apex Research.

SCIB has secured projects worth a combined RM864.54mil in Oman and Qatar. SCIB said its wholly-owned subsidiary SCIB International (Labuan) Ltd has received the letter of award for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning projects.

P.I.E. Industrial has proposed a special dividend of 2.6 sen a share besides a first and final payout of 2.4 sen for the financial year ended FY19.

Microlink Solutions has bagged a RM2.46mil contract from Bursa Malaysia to migrate and upgrade the latter's existing software system.

Microlink Solutions said its subsidiary Formis Computer Services Sdn Bhd (FCS) has received a letter of intent from Bursa, which wants to upgrade its existing MiHCM Digital HCM (human capital management) system to the latest version.

Meanwhile, US markets tumbled over 1% on Friday after the unemployment rate rose to 4.4% and higher death toll from the coronavirus.

Earlier in the day, European stocks declined after March PMI data fell to a record low.

“Following the bearish performances in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could remain pressured with support at 1,280 points,” JF Apex said.
