Business events organisers, property valuers appeal for govt aid

MACEOS President Datuk Vincent Lim(pic) said at least 32% of the small and medium scale enterprises will be forced to wind up if the pandemic goes beyond four months, based on a MACEOS survey.

KUALA LUMPUR: Small and medium-sized industries involved in the organisation of business events and property valuation firms have separately urged the government to help their respective industry, failing which many of their members would have to cease operations, leading to massive unemployment.

The Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) represents SMIs involved in business events management while the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector, Malaysia (PEPS) represents all private valuation firms.
