KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI turned higher over the course of the morning to enter midday in positive territory, even as oil prices jumped on hopes of an end to the price war.
At 12.30pm, the benchmark index was up 4.7 points to 1,327.36. Trading volume was 1.59 billion shares valued at RM923.11mil. There were 436 gainers, 233 decliners and 316 counters unchanged.
